The ReDREAM project is working on four energy communities in different locations (Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Croatia) with the aim of putting active consumer participation into practice in the electricity market, thanks to the development of a technology that enables an open, co-creative ecosystem through the implementation of digital measurement devices that make the task much simpler.
OMIE, the operator of the Iberian electricity market, is participating in Redream as an expert in electrical markets, offering all its experience in developing new comprehensive solutions of flexibility in terms of market participation.
This way, it will be a key link between the proposals of the solutions offered by the STEMY platform for integration with current and future electricity markets and, therefore, ensure the compatibility of new systems.
To do this, it will participate in defining the new information flows that need to be established for the connectivity of the ReDREAM ecosystem in the existing global markets, as well as the local flexibility markets in development, and facilitating demonstration environments for market simulation for prototyping.
